Coming Soon: Invest-ML for Global Futures, Stock Indices, Financials, and More

Invest-ML.com is the upcoming platform for machine-learning based trading signals for global stock, financial, and commodity markets. During the upcoming pre-launch, existing Crypto-ML members will be given access to Invest-ML. In this post, we’ll provide an update on the project and what you can expect.

What is Invest-ML?

Invest-ML utilizes machine learning to generate trading signals for a variety of financial instruments based on data from the Futures markets. Futures cover a broad array of global investments assets and commodities, such as:

• Stocks
• Stock indices
• Commodities
• Financials
• More

To date, the team has been working on developing the backend services, data feeds, and signal models. These models are highly effective and benefit from more stable moves as compared to cryptocurrency–though crypto volatility does also have its pros.

The signals will be divided into two categories:

1. Signals for traders
2. Signals for longer-term investors

When will Invest-ML be available?

To provide these types of signals as a service, certain regulatory requirements must be met. This means Invest-ML and Crypto-ML must have certain legal and operational facets in place to be compliant. This is a fairly extensive process but will benefit our users, allow us to provide enhanced services, and will expand our scope.

Regulation in this area is designed to protect consumers, which is a cause we can get behind. We will continue to be entirely transparent in results and aim to provide the best possible services for ourselves and our customers.

With that said, we anticipate having Invest-ML being generally available during the first quarter of 2019.

A special pre-launch will occur earlier but that date is to-be-determined. Active Crypto-ML customers at that time will receive an upgrade to their membership, giving them full access to both sites.

Why is Invest-ML focused on Futures?

While not everyone trades Futures or understands how they work, they provide the single best foundation from which to provide signals, whether you trade an actual Futures contract or the underlying asset directly.

If you are a Futures trader, you can utilize these signals directly and take advantage of the leverage, liquidity, and 24*7 trading available.

If you are not a Futures trader, it is important to note that Futures correlate highly with the underlying asset. As an example, receiving signals on the S&P 500 Futures contract will provide information you can use to trade the S&P 500 ETF (SPY).

Most Futures contracts trade 24*7, which affords a key advantage. Many of the large moves in markets tend to occur right at opening. By following Futures data, you are generally better able to react to these opening moves. Additionally, the machine learning models can learn to anticipate such spikes by monitoring out-of-hour Futures movements and indicators.

Regardless of whether or not you trade Futures directly, it is the best data set for machine learning models to consider and provides a great base for most traders and investors.

Invest-ML will provide signals for an assortment of the top financial instruments from across the globe.

Who is Invest-ML designed for?

Invest-ML will have signals for two audiences:

1. Active traders
2. Longer-term investors

Active traders may want to seek income from their trading or just be more actively engaged in the markets. Signals in this bucket will likely be on the swing trading (Investing.com) timeframe but the frequency will not be a constraint for the machine learning models. While not all of us are active traders, many people have retirement or other long-term investment accounts and may wish to gain insight into those markets on a different timescale. For these accounts, you’re less worried about day-to-day shifts. But having predictive insight into the markets allows you to consider possibilities such as:

• If you are young and believe stock values may be bottoming, it might be a great time to accumulate more assets in your long-term account.
• If you are nearing retirement and expect stock values are going to fall, you might shift into cash or bonds to protect your assets.

Having both perspectives on price movement will aid your ability to manage your trades and assets.

What other enhancements can we expect?

Invest-ML is broader in scope than Crypto-ML and will have several structural differences to accommodate this complexity while still keeping the system easy-to-use and highly accessible.

In addition to structural enhancements, users can expect the following features in both Crypto-ML and Invest-ML:

• An enhanced notification system, giving users the option to receive mobile alerts and/or email alerts.
• Auto-trading, which will initiate trades in your account directly based on signals. This eliminates human latency and judgment. This has in fact already been developed for Crypto-ML but does require the same regulatory approval before we can make it generally available.

What access will Crypto-ML customers receive?

As a thank you to Crypto-ML members who are active with us at the time of pre-release, we will automatically upgrade your accounts to include access to Invest-ML at no additional charge.
